Well February has been quite an exiting time here at Damfield Gardens, we’ve welcomed a number of new residents who are all settling in well and looking forward to getting involved in our activities and meeting everyone It’s been a busy month of birthday celebrations and Eleanor’s 100th birthday was particularly special, we arranged a special zoom meeting for her family members that are living in many different parts of the country and world and she was so surprised to see them on screen. Her birthday card from the queen still has pride of place on her bedside cabinet We’re encouraging everybody to take part in our daily exercise sessions and keep as fit as we can, some of our ladies have jokingly named it “the bikini body class”
We’ve had so many face time calls, zoom calls, window visits and phone calls with all families and we’re so glad that we’re able to offer this as we know how important this is to everyone during this difficult time We’ve had some lovely weather lately and some of our residents have been lucky enough to be able to spend some time in our garden enjoying the sunshine We’re all hoping that it won’t be too much longer until we can enjoy our outdoor space and enjoy our garden games Let’s make spring 2021 a special time at Damfield Gardens
