Salts Team

SALT means Speech and Language Therapy. The team understand the workings of the mouth etc. and can help with swallowing problems.

Falls Team

There are ways you can reduce your risk of having a fall, including making simple changes to your home and doing exercises to improve your strength and balance.

Continence Team

Our Continence team provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults with bladder and bowel incontinence within both of our care homes

Mental Health Workers provide assistance with daily activities, monitor their patients’ conditions and assist in administering therapeutic care.

Local Social Workers

Day-to-day work involves assessing people’s needs, strengths and wishes, working with individuals and families directly to help them make changes and solve problems.

District Nurses

District Nurses provide a 24 hour nursing service over 365 days a year providing nursing care and treatments to patients in our homes to include residential homes.

Tissue Viability Nurses

The Tissue Viability Service (formerly known as the Leg Ulcer Service) provides specialist and expert advice and care to patients suffering with pressure ulcers, trauma injuries, abdominal wounds, fungating lesions etcetera.

Diabetic Nurses

Diabetes Specialist Nurses (DSNs) are crucial in providing good patient care and promoting self-care management. DSNs work wholly in diabetes care and may be employed in a variety of care settings.

COPD Nurses

Most nurses – not just those who are specialist chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or respiratory nurses – will routinely care for people who have COPD. COPD is a long-term, progressive respiratory disease

Admiral Nurses

When things get challenging or difficult, Admiral Nurses work alongside people with dementia, and their families: giving them one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions.

Bereavement Counselling

If someone is moving into our homes after the passing of one of their loved ones. Our bereavement counselors are on hand to work through the best way to get through this hard time

We are frequently visited by our local Priest/Minister who is on a first name basis with many of our residents
